Team Approach in Sleep Disorders Care

The sleep team at Banner – University Medical Center Tucson's Center for Sleep Disorders consists of sleep doctors, mental health professionals, pulmonologists and pediatricians.

Our compassionate team treats a variety of sleep disorders, including insomnia, restless legs syndrome and sleep apnea.

How is my sleeping problem evaluated?

We monitor you in a sleep study and measure many of your physiological and neurological markers during sleep. You can choose to do the sleep study at our Tucson campus or in the comfort of your home.

The Sleep Center conducts overnight sleep tests at our clinic and sleep laboratory. Some of these tests include the following:

  • Cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia
  • Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) adherence promotion
  • Maintenance of wakefulness testing
  • Multiple sleep latency testing
  • Newer modes of ventilation such as ASV and AVAPS
  • Polysomnography sleep studies
  • Sleep physician consultations
  • Sleep study with CPAP titration
