Doctors & Specialists

When it comes to your health, you are in charge. That’s why our primary care doctors, specialists and intensivists partner with you to help you reach your health care goals.

Our team of clinical experts work with you through all of life’s stages. In the smaller communities where we may not have a specialist on staff, we have partnered with doctors to ensure your needs are met – close to home.

Hospitalists and Hospital Care

Hospital care is conducted by a team of people all focused on your care. A large piece to that team is a hospitalist.

What is a hospitalist?

Hospitalists are doctors who are responsible for your care and treatment during your stay in the hospital. From the time of your admission to the time you head home, a hospitalist is there taking care of you. Hospitalists are dedicated exclusively to your care when you are in the hospital. They’re there for you 7 days a week, 24-hours a day. What that means is you always have a doctor close by.

Patient Ratings

Sharing information to help you choose a doctor

When you or your family are considering a doctor at Banner Health, our patient experience star ratings are here to help you choose a doctor. The star ratings are based on more than 100,000 returned patient surveys. The star rating is the average of all responses to the statement “I would recommend the doctor to my family and friends.” Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.

Learn about our survey

Banner Health measures many aspects of the patient experience. To ensure that we capture the most robust patient experience feedback, we partner with a leading customer experience platform that helps Banner leverage patient feedback to inform better care delivery and create more meaningful relationships with you – our patient.

Who receives the surveys?

Our medical practice survey is sent to patients 24 to 48 hours after their clinic appointment. Patients take a 10-question survey and provide comments regarding their clinic experience. We use this feedback to improve all aspects of the clinic experience with the goal of making healthcare easier, so that life can be better.
