Washakie Medical Center MRI Naming Contest

Attention Big Horn Basin elementary students: Washakie Medical Center needs your help! Our Imaging department is getting a new MRI machine, but we don’t know a good name for it. Now through May 22nd, elementary school students in the Big Horn Basin can enter for a chance to name our new MRI machine! The winner will have their illustration incorporated into the imaging department and honored on our social media platforms!

Contest rules:

• Contest is open to elementary school students in the Big Horn Basin.
• Download and print the two-page entry form or call (307) 347-6958 to request printed copies.
• Color the MRI template and write a name selection. Be sure to fill in the complete entry form at the bottom of the permission template, and make sure your parent or legal guardian signs it.
• Entries must be received by May 22nd, 2024. They must include the illustrated MRI along with the completed permission form (withparent’s or legal guardian’s signature). Return entry using the instructions on the form.
• A committee will select 5 finalists, and committee decisions are final. These 5 entries will be promoted on the Washakie Medical Center Facebook page.
• The winning entry will be chosen via popular vote by our hospital staff! In case of a tie, the committee who selected the finalists will choose the winner.
• Our new MRI will have a plaque of the chosen name from the winning entry. The winner’s illustration will be included.
