What Is Banner Lifeline?

Banner Lifeline is a personal emergency response system that provides immediate assistance with the push of a button. The Lifeline response system is a wearable device that is a fast and easy way to get help during an emergency. It immediately connects you to an on-call response team, giving you instant access to medical, police and fire assistance.

Who Would Benefit from Having Banner Lifeline?

Anyone who is at risk of falling or having a medical emergency, such as the elderly, people with health issues or those who live alone would benefit from Banner Lifeline.

Where Is Banner Lifeline Available?

Banner Lifeline is currently available to Banner Health’s Northern Colorado patients through Banner McKee Medical Center.

You must have an existing landline phone for the service.

How Does Banner Lifeline Work?

If you and your provider decide Banner Lifeline is the right option for you, you will be given a personal activator, which is worn around your neck or wrist. When you need emergency assistance, push the activator button, which will dial Banner Lifeline’s 24-hour response center.

The home response care center’s trained operators quickly work to get you the help you need. Even if you can't speak or be heard, they still send help immediately.

Lifeline's AutoAlert makes sure you get help if you are disoriented, unconscious, immobilized or otherwise unable to push your personal activator. It automatically places a call for help if it detects a fall and you can't push the button yourself.

When your activator signal is received, your personal and medical information, list of contacts (family, friends, emergency personnel) and your response directive are displayed for the response center operator.
