Ovarian Cancer Signs & Symptoms

Symptoms of ovarian cancer include:

  • Abdominal swelling and/or pain
  • Frequency and/or urgency of urination
  • Unexplained weight loss or gain
  • Unusual fatigue, backaches
  • Abnormal or postmenopausal bleeding

Digestive symptoms that can also be a symptom or sign of ovarian cancer include:

  • Bloating and/or a feeling of fullness
  • Persistent, gastrointestinal complaints such as gas, nausea and indigestion
  • Change in bowel habits

Symptoms of ovarian cancer after a hysterectomy include:

  • Bloating and/or a feeling of fullness
  • Frequency and/or urgency of urination
  • Unusual fatigue, backaches
  • Painful intercourse

Symptoms of ovarian cancer post menopause include:

  • Unexplained weight loss or gain
  • Abdominal swelling and/or pain
  • Constipation
  • Vaginal bleeding or spotting
