Welcome to Cardon Children’s Medical Center. From the moment you enter our facility, you will notice that we are a little different. Our front entrance is marked by a soothing water wall, lifelike trees, park benches and street lamps. Everything we do here is to welcome your family and make you feel comfortable.

Our state-of-the-art facility features 206 beds, specially trained nurses and doctors and family-centered care.

Cardon Children’s Medical Center was designed “Through the Eyes of a Child,” meaning it has all the comforts of home and does not feel institutional. The hospital is meant to inspire healing, learning and imagination. Animal shapes placed in the floor provide a way-finding system to get around the hospital while play areas replace waiting areas.

We are also served by specially educated clinicians. All of our clinical staff has pediatric-specific experience and are excellent in providing care and services to children.

At Banner Children’s, we understand what interests kids, what frightens them and – most importantly – what helps them heal and stay healthy. From well-child exams to treatment of minor injuries and illnesses to management of chronic conditions, the experienced team at Banner Children’s is here to provide comprehensive, family-centered medical care for your child.

Banner Children’s provides more care for more kids than any other health system in Arizona. With pediatricians and specialists throughout the Phoenix-metro and Tucson areas, ten pediatric-prepared emergency rooms, Cardon Children’s Medical Center, Banner Thunderbird Medical Center and Diamond Children's Medical Center, you are only minutes away from top pediatric care.

Our pediatric-focused physicians and staff care for your child in our Banner Health centers and clinics, emergency rooms, hospitals and outpatient facilities to support the continuum of care your child needs when he needs it.
