Visiting Diamond Children's Medical Center
At Diamond Children’s Medical Center, we provide a family-centered, comprehensive pediatric care for children. We work together as a team – with our physicians, nurses, technicians and support staff each playing a specific role in your care plan.
We recognize the importance of family and friends to a child's recovery and encourage visits by offering a family-centered visitation policy.
There is a parking garage north of the Diamond Children’s lobby that provides convenient, covered parking at no charge (with validated ticket) to patients and visitors.
We are pleased to offer guest wireless services to our patients and their family. Your own laptop or electronic device is needed. Hospital computers are not available for this use.
Visitors and family are welcome to eat in the Banner – University Medical Center Tucson cafeteria. Vending machines are open 24 hours a day in the cafeteria.
Ronald McDonald Family Room
Diamond Children’s Ronald McDonald Family Room is a place for families to relax and recharge while their child is in the hospital. Located on the fourth floor, the Ronald McDonald Family Room offers snacks and coffee, a computer, TV and DVD player, toys and books. And if you are here from out-of-town with a hospitalized child, you can stay at the Ronald McDonald House at no charge.
