Telehealth for Cancer Care

A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming - both physically and emotionally. Our Banner MD Anderson Cancer doctors, oncologists and other medical professionals are here to help provide integrated care that is personalized for your unique needs.

There are times when a video visit can take the place of an in-person visit with your provider. These are some of the services that can be provided via telehealth cancer:

  • Assessments
  • Short- and long-term therapy
  • Test results
  • Follow-ups
  • Prescription refills

Call your doctor or find a doctor to discuss if telehealth cancer services are the best option for you or your loved one.

Telehealth is not intended for use in emergencies. If you have an emergency, please call 911.

What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is a video-enabled visit with a health care provider. A virtual care appointment lets you have a video visit with your doctor, safely and securely, no matter where you are. Learn more about Banner Health’s Telehealth services

What Do I Need for a Telehealth Visit?

For a video visit, you will need a smartphone, laptop, computer or tablet with video and internet capabilities. For a step-by-step tutorial on setting up your device, visit our Telehealth Resources page.

Talk to your provider about your appointment options. If your primary care physician thinks your symptoms or findings could be cancer, they will write a referral so you can be diagnosed by a physician in our Suspicion of Cancer Program. Our expert providers are here to help you through your journey.
