Telehealth Pediatrics

Back To Pediatrics

From well-child exams and treating minor illnesses and injuries to managing chronic conditions, our compassionate pediatrics team at Banner Children’s is here to take care of your child.

While some of your appointments will be in-person, there are times when it may be possible to see your provider via a video visit. Video visits can be made for:

  • Assessments
  • Consultations
  • Lab Results
  • Follow-ups
  • Prescription refills

Telehealth pediatrics is a fast, convenient and safe way to talk with your provider.

Telehealth is not intended for use in emergencies. If your child has a life-threatening injury or illness, please dial 911 immediately.

What is Telehealth?

Telehealth is a video-enabled visit with a health care provider. A virutal care appointment lets you have a video visit with your doctor, safely and securely, no matter where you are. Learn more about Banner Health’s Telehealth services

What Do I Need for a Telehealth Visit?

For a video visit, you will need a smartphone, laptop, computer or tablet with video and internet capabilities. For a step-by-step tutorial on setting up your device, visit our Telehealth Resources page

If this is your first Banner Children’s visit, be sure to have a list of questions to ask your doctor, a list of any medications your child takes with the dosage and any immunization or medical records.
