Telehealth Behavioral Health

Back To Behavioral Health & Mental Health

Your mental health matters. Banner Health offers safe and convenient virtual care so you can get support without traveling to an appointment. Our telehealth behavioral health services connect you with experienced providers through a secure video visit from home or another private location.

This option can make it easier to access care when you need it most.

What you can do through telehealth

Board-certified behavioral health professionals can provide:

  • Assessment and evaluation
  • Short- and long-term therapy
  • Follow-ups during treatment
  • Prescription refills when appropriate

If in-person visits are needed, we will work with you to make that transition smooth. Many people use a mix of in-person and virtual care depending on what is best for their situation.

When to choose telehealth

Telehealth may be a good fit if you:

  • Have difficulty traveling to appointments
  • Prefer care in the comfort of your home
  • Need flexible scheduling options
  • Are managing ongoing mental health challenges

Your care team can help you decide what works best for you.

How to schedule a telehealth behavioral health visit

  • Contact your doctor to request a virtual appointment
  • If you do not have a provider, we can help you find one. Call Banner Behavioral Health at 602-254-4357. A brief phone screening will help us determine the right level of care.

What you need for a telehealth visit

To join a video visit, you will need:

  • A smartphone, tablet, laptop or computer with a camera
  • A stable internet connection
  • A private and comfortable space

If you need help preparing your device or connecting, we offer step-by-step guidance.

What is telehealth

Telehealth uses secure video technology to bring your care team to you. You can talk with a licensed behavioral health professional face-to-face on screen from anywhere.
