The bladder is a hollow organ located in the pelvis and is part of the urinary tract that includes the kidney, ureters and urethra. Bladder cancer mostly affects men and women aged 55 and up. Bladder cancer starts in the lining of the bladder and spreads into the bladder walls or, in later stages, to other organs.
